Wendy Williams rebukes the late Elizabeth Taylor - Aid Atlanta hurt?

Wendy Williams cited The Globe as her source for an alleged conversation that took place between Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Taylor prior to Liz's death -- and which Wendy dished about today on her television show watched faithfully in Atlanta and elsewhere in the country.

E! Online ran a clip of Wendy Williams as she talked to the "dearly departed" Cleopatra star today, giving online viewers a chance to catch the gist of Wendy's point, which was this:

Elizabeth Taylor shouldn't have shunned Angelina Jolie's request for a meeting (if she really did so), since Elizabeth Taylor pulled her own husband-stealing scene with Eddie and Debbie Fisher way back when.

The conversation between Elizabeth Taylor and Angelina Jolie, if it took place, likely was on the heels of rumors surfacing about Angelina Jolie possibly going to play Cleopatra in a remake being planned which Taylor received a million to star in during the early '60s.

Elizabeth Taylor's jewelry collection far outweighs her wages earned for that high-dollar movie, and you can see some fantastic Elizabeth Taylor-like diamond and gem costume jewelry concoctions (and that you can own yourself) by visiting the MsBellezza Jewelry website. Or you can access the slideshow to the left of this article for a more upclose look.

Angelina Jolie has worn her fair share of beautiful jewels too, as did Wendy Williams during her "Dancing With the Stars" turn this month. But Elizabeth Taylor is the only one who can boast the stash that has Christie's and jewelry lovers in Atlanta and the world over all a twitter.

Now Elizabeth Taylor's extensive diamond and gemstone collection will garner money for a good cause -- fighting AIDS in Atlanta and elsewhere in America -- instead of sitting in a box or jewelry safe.

AID Atlanta is committed to helping educate and offer services to those affected by HIV and Aids too, just like the late Ms. Taylor. So anytime Elizabeth Taylor is attacked --since she is a staunch supporter of finding an HIV/AIDs cure -- it can be detrimental to the cause in Atlanta or anywhere else. Financial support is influenced by high-profile celebrities like the late Elizabeth Taylor and others. If those celebrities lose their influence (even when dead), it can impact their ability to raise funds.

Wendy Williams probably wasn't thinking about that during her show today, instead focusing on a titillating piece of gossip instead. But in days gone by, when someone mentioned a "Hollywood Affair", as Wendy Williams did this morning to the Atlanta WSBTV viewing audience, it was assumed to be of the physical kind.

That's not the case necessarily now, as a "Hollywood Affair" can be exquisite crafted jewelry named for Hollywood glam instead of immorality. And the "Hollywood Affair" jewelry piece by MsBellezza is definitely a look Elizabeth Taylor would have worn -- or left for Christie's to auction for AID Atlanta or some other organization.
