EDITORIAL

Sunny and cheery Pamplona could hardly be mistaken for cold and dreary London.

But one thing both cities have in common is the annual Running of the (name mammal here) Festival.

In Pamplona, it's bulls.

London, it's lambstables - as in lambs to the slaughter.

Okay, okay... I'll stop with the sarcasm.

But after viewing this video (below left), who couldn't be at least a little sarcastic, if not downright disgusted?

Who's In Charge Of This FUBAR...?

I'll admit this video is not exactly new, this National Embarrassment for the British took place sometime during early spring of 2009, but it's reflective of the downward spiral of a once great nation.

The same Brits who we fought side-by-side with from northern France in 1917 to Afghanistan's Helmand Province present day.

The very same we were with from Normandy in WWII to the Chosin Reservoir in the Korean War... those same Brits are running ― that's right ― running away from street thugs who have no intention whatsoever of integrating themselves into British culture or obeying British law.

They Respect Islam So Much, They'll Run Away From It...

Long known for being frightened to death of being labeled "Islamophobes," the famous London Bobbies turned tail and ran away from keffiyeh-donned Muslim youths who showed their respect for London's Finest by screaming at them "run you cowards, kuffars, Allahu Akbar, free Palestine," etc, etc, ad nauseum.

Obviously, these exuberant rascals must not be aware that the Palestinian Authority is running the show in so-called "Palestine."

But don't let facts get in the way of a good shaming.

And the Bobbies of the London Metropolitan Police Department deserve a good shaming.

Gee, I Must Be Racist ― Even If Islam Isn't A Race...

As someone who is technically classified as bi-racial, allow me to say this isn't about not liking brown-skinned, non-Christian British subjects.

Indian Hindus and Sikhs have not only integrated themselves into British culture, they've embraced it almost to the point of it being in their very DNA.

Their love of Queen and Country is beyond reproach

So could that of more than a few Jamaicans, ethnic Chinese from Hong Kong, Guyanese, various Pacific Islanders and Nigerians just to name a few.

Call me old fashioned, I just happen to believe in those outdated and oh-so politically incorrect notions of patriotism and enforcing the law.

Too bad the London cops don't.
