Arrow has been a successful series on many fronts, so it was no surprise that the series got renewed for a second season on the CW Network. What is getting interesting is now that the creators of the series have that security, they can start making future plans. One such plan has come to fruition, The CW Network and Warner Bros. have given word that Colton Haynes is now a series regular in the upcoming season of Arrow.
Formerly of MTV's Teen Wolf, Haynes left that series to take on the role of Roy Harper. His character just began a few episodes ago with him having a run in with Oliver Queen's sister Thea (Willa Holland). Haynes himself will be a guest star for the remainder of the season one. Roy Harper himself in the comics became Oliver Queen a.k.a Green Arrow's sidekick Speedy, who himself evolved into the character Red Arrow.
So what will come of these new developments in the coming season? Will Roy Harper become Arrow's sidekick in the new season? No one knows yet, but considering the progress that season one has made, fans should expect great things for Arrow season two on the CW.
