Welcome the new year at First Night Spokane 2013

Are you looking for a great, family friendly, fun way to celebrate New Year's Eve in Spokane? If so, look no further than First Night Spokane 2013.

First Night Spokane is sponsored by dozens of Spokane businesses and organizations including Kalispel Tribe of Indians, the City of Spokane, the Davenport Hotel, Visit Spokane and many more.

This year's theme is "Across the Universe, Year of the UFO." Children's activities including arts, crafts, entertainment, and music begin at the Spokane convention center at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 31, 2012.

First Night includes a "Resolution Fun Run," movies, live music, food, fire pits, and a terrific fireworks display at midnight.

All of the activities take place in the heart of downtown around Spokane's Riverfront Park and the Spokane Convention Center. There will be free parking and free bus shuttles to and from any and all of the festivities.

Admission buttons to First Night are $12 prior to the event or $15 on the day of the event. Children 10 and under are free when accompanied by a button wearing adult.
