Weird purple flying saucer shaped UFO seen spinning over California [video]

On Sunday, September 25, 2011, a 39-year-old man spotted an amazing and unusual flying saucer shaped UFO in the early morning skies over Northern California.

The large unidentified flying object was softly glowing in shades of purple.  It hovered in the sky for at least five minutes and thirty seconds during which time the observer was able to capture the incredible sight on video.

Throughout most of the recent video captured by the California witness, the UFO looks like an elongated and illuminated blue or purple light against the dark night sky over a the city.  However, at certain moments in the video, the object comes into focus and the sight is utterly fantastic.

Please watch the video on the left side of this page.  It is like nothing you have ever seen before.  The most dramatic views of the UFO occur after the 2:10 mark.

Each time the clarity of the UFO's appearance improves, the features and details of the object remain tantalizingly close to being revealed for several seconds.  It looks like the UFO may be rotating or spinning like a top.  It's pretty spectacular.  This is one of the most exciting UFO videos in recent memory.

The size of the UFO in the video make it seem either extraordinarily close or extraordinarily large (or both).  The video of this UFO sighting far surpasses many others in terms of length, detail, and unique appearance of the object itself.

The uploader (pallen214) describes the UFO video only as "Amazing UFO footage over Northern California 9-25-11," so you will have to watch the video for yourself to truly understand what the observer actually witnessed.
