A beach front town is blanketed in sea foam as it comes in off the ocean in large quantities after a cyclone churned it up out at sea. This isn’t just a little sea foam, the fluffy white substance is piling up to the point that it covers windows in mobile homes, according to AZ family.com on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.
Video: Check out the video of the sea-foam overrunning the area in Queensland here or at the bottom left of this article.
The sea foam isn’t dissipating at a fast enough rate to keep it from building up. Not only is it piling up around the town, it is also flying through the air giving a very eerie and weird look to the area. A stretch of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast is just covered in the stuff and it is a sight that is rare to see.
Tropical Cyclone Oswald caused severe rains and flooding to Queensland and now they are covered in sea foam. It looks as if a giant washing machine malfunctioned spewing white foaming bubbles everywhere.
In the video provided by Philly.com, you can see the residents in a trailer park finding it hard to navigate once they open their door and walk outside. With the sea foam covering everything from the sidewalks to their cars.
