The three-time Grammy Award winning artist, best known for his humorous songs that lampoon pop culture, will be lending his voice to a character by the name of Cheese Sandwich in the upcoming episode, "Pinkie Pride," set to air on the Hub Network in February. The announcement was made in an official press release from the Hub Network on Dec. 23, 2013, along with a brief synopsis of the episode.

The episode focuses around Pinkie Pie, who has always been the go-to pony for great parties in Ponyville. However, when the mysterious Cheese Sandwich (played by Weird Al) comes to town with plans to throw an enormous party for her good friend, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie could end up losing her title of "Super-Duper Party Pony" to a new master of parties.

"My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" is one of the Hub Network's most watched animated series, drawing an average of over 360,000 viewers every Saturday morning. The series was also nominated for "Outstanding Original Song – Children's and Animation" at the 39th Daytime Emmy Awards, and was named by TV Guide as one of the "Top Sixty Greatest Animated Shows of All Time" in September 2013.

You can catch "Weird Al" Yankovic as he guest stars in "Pinkie Pride" when it premieres on the Hub Network on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m. EST.
