Muscles utilize calories even after you stop exercising
Muscles are what allow our bodies to move. They take in energy and create movement from it. When you exercise, your body uses calories to provide the nutrients needed to "feed" your muscles. This allows your muscles to be strong and able to produce movement. Muscles need energy. Energy equals calories.
Muscles are burning calories even after you stop exercising. After movement (exercise) is completed, the muscles still need to replenish their energy stores to be ready for the next action we take. Hence,they're using calories and you get
