Weight loss meals - Breakfast recipe # 1


Your omelet will taste much better than this one

To kick start your metabolism and weight loss for the day make sure to eat a healthy breakfast.  Your breakfast should be comprised mostly of protein and vegetables (the same as all of your meals). 

Turkey Omelet or scramble


  • 6 eggs whites (females- 3 egg whites)
  • 1 whole omega-3 egg
  • 4 oz of turkey, chopped
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1 Roma tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp chives, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 slice of fat free cheese
  • 2 tsp smart balance, or coconut oil


In a large skillet brown the mushrooms, onion, and turkey in 1 tsp of butter.  Once browned, remove ingredients from the skillet and add the remaining butter and beaten eggs into the skillet.  You can choose to scramble them or make an omelet depending on your skill level.  Once eggs are almost cooked to your liking add the cheese.  Let the cheese melt and add the mushrooms, onion, chives, tomato, and turkey.  Cook until tomato is warm and serve.
