WEG Eventing enters final phase October 3rd

Competition is tight for equestrian Eventing at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG). With the first two phases, Dressage and Cross Country, completed, the Eventing World Championship by Reem Acra is neck-and-neck (and neck) between three nations (Great Britain, the United States and Canada), with several others in close pursuit.

Here are the top ten contenders (in nation standings), as the third and final phase of the three-day eventing competitions open at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Lexington, Kentucky, on Sunday, October 3rd.

Stadium jumping, the final equestrian Eventing competition, takes place on Sunday, October 3rd, with portions broadcast on NBC Sports.

The 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) continues through October 11th at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
