Here is a quick roundup of some of the latest happenings in the social media world.
This week, Facebook started testing a “Remind Me” button for offers on the mobile News Feed and a new phrasing for the “Promote” button on Pages. The company also announced changes to the Ads Manager tool to provide marketers with more relevant metrics:
“For example, if an advertiser says the goal of a campaign is to acquire page Likes, the summary page will highlight the total number of new Likes and costs per Like. If the goal is to get new users for an app, the tool will report new app installs and costs per install,” says Brittany Darwell on Inside Facebook.
This update comes with an improved conversion tracking tool.
