Weekend yarn getaway

This is a perfect gift to give or receive. By the time the holidays are over and the house is put back in shape, a  getaway sounds perfect. Westport Yarns is having their First Annual Knitting retreat, the weekend of Friday, January 27, 2012 through Sunday, January 29, 2012.

You can join with Westport Yarns at the spectacular Mohonk Mountain House built on the deep blue waters of Lake Mohonk, New York. "There you will enjoy the enchantment of the 266 room Victorian  castle in the Hudson Valley.  Sit nestled up by a roaring fire with your yarn and needles or take a hike on one of the 85 miles of trails.  You can even treat yourself to a spa treatment (additional cost) a swim in the heated indoor pool, or skate in the ice skating pavilion."

A restful few "low key" days focusing on comraderie, knitting and delicious meals daily. The Westport Yarn staff will be on hand to help knitters with their ongoing projects as you cozy up by the fireplace.
