Beyoncé shows off sonogram and baby bump
Singer Beyoncé released the trailer for her upcoming HBO doc “Life is But a Dream” over the weekend and based on the short preview, we can tell Beyoncé will be inviting us a little more into her world. In one of the clips, Beyoncé shows off baby Blue Ivy while she was still in utero via a sonogram. Beyoncé even managed to flash her mini baby bump surely silencing some of the naysayers who doubt the singer was ever pregnant (see video below). It’s been open season for Beyoncé’s return. There's word of a new album coming this year as well as her much hyped Super Bowl performance in February in which she will bring out her former Destiny’s Child members to perform. In addition to all this, Beyoncé is scheduled to perform at President Barack Obama’s Inaugural Ball later this month.
Toya Wright and husband Memphitz getting a reality show?
That seems to be the word on the net. Will the third time be a charm? Toya, who has had two other reality shows in the past (“Tiny and Toya” and “Toya: A Family Affair”), is looking to secure a new reality show but this time with her hubby, producer Memphitz. Both of Toya’s former reality shows had homes on BET. Now, most of us are familiar with Memphitz thanks to K.Michelle from VH1’s reality show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” He was the ex-boyfriend that according to K. Michelle physically abused her throughout their relationship. Memphitz has caused quite a stir this year putting to use his 120 characters via twitter. He’s used the social networking site to deny K. Michelle’s allegations and to put forward that he is nothing like the man that K accused him of being. It will be interesting to see how this reality show works out and who picks it up. According to TMZ, the show is currently being shopped to BET, MTV, Oxygen, and FUSE.
Does everybody hate Kanye West post Kim Kardashian knock-up?
The king of all things ego may be getting a dose of heavy reality. According to an online poll, Kanye West’s popularity is starting to tank due to his relationship with girlfriend Kim Kardashian. The poll which was conducted by E-Poll Market Research that measures a celebrity’s marketability by assigning them an “E-Score,” showed that Kanye West has been deemed overexposed. The data that was analyzed showed that his popularity took a hit around April 2012 – that would be around the time that the couple started dating. This writer highly doubts that the relationship made that big of a difference and it more so was a result of several changes the rapper has undergone over the years. Besides, all celebrities can bounce back from being hated, right?
Kobe and Vanessa Bryant rip-up the divorce papers
Don’t you love it when things work out in the end? Instead of ending with a bitter divorce battle, LA Lakers’ Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa have reconciled. Vanessa originally filed for divorce in 2011. Via her instagram, Vanessa wrote “We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled. Our divorce action will be dismissed.” On his Facebook page, Kobe added “when the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with.”
