Weekend Valentine's Day Events

Valentine’s Day is here. During this season of love, there are many different events across Connecticut that you can enjoy and share arts and crafts projects as a family. Here are some of the highlights for this weekend:

Saturday, February 13th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm visit the Valentine’s Craft Fair at the view the Knights of Columbus Hall in Stratford. Enjoy the many craft vendors and pick up a valentine gift for your special someone

Also on Saturday, February 13th from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm participate in a Crafty Valentine’s Day Tea Workshop at the Guilford Art Center in Guilford. Crafts include a heart shaped fabric pillow, floral scented sachet and heart jewelry box. There is a material fee of $5.00 and tuition is $40.00 for non-members or $36.00 for members.

On Sunday, February 14th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm the Mattatuck Museum Arts & History Center in Waterbury will be having a Be My Valentine: Family Valentine Workshop. See their collection of antique valentines then make your own beautiful valentines to share with friends and family. And this Sunday there is free admission to the museum.
