Here’s what’s happening this week and next in Katy. There are lots of charity events you won’t want to miss including Cheers for Charity at La Centerra, Ties & Tiaras benefitting the KEYS scholarship program and the KVPAC movie night featuring Singing In The Rain!
Katy High School Jazz Bands presents its annual Sentimental Journey on Saturday, March 2nd beginning at 6:00PM. Special guest Bonnie Steel will be performing. The event will be held in the Katy High School Commons. Katy High School is located on the corner of Highway 90 and Highway 1463. Tickets are on sale now: $25.00 per person, $40.00 for two people, and $150.00 for a reserved table of 8. You can get tickets at the Katy High School Main Campus or online at www.katyhsband.com. Cheers! for Charity will feature over 100 wines from across the state and around the world, international beers, spirits and sake, Texas craft beers and spirits, food samples, pairing demonstrations, fine art from Katy area artists and more. Tickets: $50 (advance), $65 (day of)

Each program focuses on a nature theme and offers a craft project, activities, and nature walk. This month's theme is "Trees", the craft will be leaf printing art, and guided tree walks will be offered.
