Harvard General Store, a brand new music venue located at 1 Still River Road in Harvard has Chris Mcdermott's Rhythm, Rhyme and Reason's Band on Friday night, July 18, 2014. John Lockwood will be on bass and Jorge Perez Albela on drums.
There will also be some special guests, Pete Doom from 8 feet Tall will be throwing down some rhymes and Jay Frigiletto will test out their baby grand on a tune or two.
Mcdermott is a guitarist, composer, singer, producer who has been playing all over Europe and America for the last twenty five years. He's shared the stage with Pete Townsend, BB King, Dr John, Johnny Winter, Nora Jones and others and has toured as a sideman to many blues greats including Eddie Kirkland, Carrie Bell, Nappy Brown, Zorah Young, Marva Wright and Toni Lynn Washington. He is a part professor at Berklee College of Music.
Boston recording artist Carlin Tripp will be playing on Friday night at the Cabbyshack, 30 Town Wharf in Plymouth. The Cabbyshack is on historic Plymouth harbor with gorgeous views, tons of seats under the sun and live music all season long.
