You can never have too much to listen to!
If you hear something sneaking up on you don’t worry, it’s just the weekend listening and they are here for your pleasure…
First up is the Gypsy Kings “Bem Bem Maria”. This is a live version and it is one of the best that I have heard them perform live.
Second for this week is “Screen Door” by the late Christian Artist Rich Mullins. This is from a concert given by Mullins a few weeks before his untimely death. I will be doing an article on Mr. Mullins soon. He is the one in the white t-shirt on the end.
Our third piece this week is the legendary B.B. King live in concert with Richie Sambora performing “Let the Good Times Roll”. There’s not much more that can be said about BB, the man is still jamming. Most people only know Richie for his playing with Bon Jovi, but he is so much more. I love when BB says to take one more, just a great, fun song.
Finally, we end with Take 6 singing the beautiful Carmichael hymn “A Quiet Place”. There truly aren’t words to describe how exquisite this sounds. Every a capella group tries to sound like Take 6, and all fall just a little short.
That’s all for this week, and again, comments welcome!
