Weekend forecast including Titan's game

Expect an ultimate autumn weekend coming up for the Nashville area and surrounding counties. There are a great many things to do across Middle Tennessee, so get out and enjoy this incredible weekend.

If you're a big fan of clear, cool nights and warm, sunny days, then I have fantastic news for you.

A couple of reinforcement shots of cool air will keep our temperatures in the mid 70's for highs on both Friday and Saturday with cool overnights from around 50-53°. By Saturday night, however, lows are expected to dip into the middle 40's with highs on Sunday struggling into the middle 60's. Early tailgaters at LP Field will be enjoying lower to mid 50's between the 9 am and 10 am hour.

Sunday's noon kickoff for our Titans versus the Denver Broncos should see a temperature of 62° under a partly cloudy sky and a north wind of 12-15 mph. Bring along a light jacket for the game. Temperatures should rise to 65° by the late 4th quarter. My prediction is a Titans win 27-14 as Chris Johnson runs for a 150 yards and 2 touchdowns. My prediction and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee!

A look ahead to the workweek shows cooler temps for most of the forecast period!
