Cheektowaga Polish-American Festival – Thursday through Sunday, July 17th through 20th at Cheektowaga Town Park on Harlem Rd. Highlighted by the General Pulaski Parade on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (starts at Thruway Mall, continuing north on Harlem to Town Park), the festival also features live music, vendors, food (Friday through Sunday) and a special mass (Saturday at 4:30 p.m.). 2014 Knox Memorial Cup polo exhibition – Saturday, July 19th at 1 p.m. at Knox Farm State Park, 437 Buffalo Rd. in East Aurora (rain date July 20th). Proceeds from the event benefit the Knox Farm State Park and Mikey’s Way Foundation of Roswell Park Cancer Center and Buffalo Women and Children’s Hospital. Bases Merlot-ed – Saturday, July 19th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Coca Cola Field in downtown Buffalo. The “ballpark wine trail” is a benefit for Shakespeare in Delaware Park and features the Lancaster Farmer’s Market, local food trucks and more than 20 tasting stations.
