With Valentine’s Day fast approaching this Sunday, February 14th, many local attractions are gearing up with some fun arts and craft events for children. Here are a few great family events to share with your kids this week:
This Wednesday, February 10th from 4 to 4:30 pm the Connecticut Audubon Society’s Birdcraft Museum in Fairfield is having an Afternoon Adventure Valentine’s Hearts program. There will be a Valentine story, craft and animal adventure. Admission is by donation.
On Thursday, February 11th from 10 to 10:30 or 11:00 to 11:30 am children age 2-3 can enjoy the Heart Art Program at the Lutz Children’s Museum. Children will make heart inspired artwork and valentines. Admission is $7 for members or $10 for nonmembers.
And on Friday, February 12th from 10:00 to 11:00 am or 1:00 to 2:00 pm, children age 3-5 can come to a Valentine's Day Party at the Lutz Children’s Museum. Children will learn about Valentine’s Day, create Valentine’s Day art and play games. Admission is $10 for members or $13 for nonmembers.
