To send Ohio lawmakers the message that that turning back the clock on reproductive rights is not acceptable, the Ohio Women's Action Network is organizing a We Won't Go Back rally at the Ohio Statehouse on Wednesday, October at 11:30 a.m.
On top of the two-year Ohio budget bill, which included of some of the most restrictive reproductive health provisions in that nation, Ohio lawmakers have also reintroduced the "heartbeat bill."
Speakers will include: Ellie Smeal, president of the Feminist Majority Foundation; Terry O’Neill, president of the National Organization for Women; Stephanie Kight, president of Planned Parenthood Ohio; Kellie Copeland, president of NARAL Pro-Choice; Sara Hutchinson, domestic program director of Catholics for Choice; and Petee Talley, secretary-treasurer of the Ohio AFL-CIO.
