The Huffington Post had an article out today March 31, 2014 with a national survey taken by - Jamie Miles. The result of the survey's average cost was $29,858. The highest ever in their surveys from past. It gives a break down of all the separate elements from flowers $2,069; photographers 2,440; musicians $3,469 to venues $13.385. Click here to read more about it and see the full chart of prices.

Since last year it has risen several hundred dollars and from just two years ago alone it has risen almost one and half thousand dollars. Location will be a factor in how high or low costs will average, even just going outside of city limits the price will be lower. The month, day and time will also be a factor. Weekends being the most active and highly sought after will be more expensive of course as well as popular wedding months.
