Wedding coordinator Sharon Ringier talks about her favorite celebrity bride

When Wedding and events coordinator, Sharon Ringier, first spoke to Grammy nominated Blues Artist, Shemekia Copeland, she found out that her soon-to-be new client would be attending her very first wedding - her own! With such a busy tour schedule, Shemekia was never in town when her own friends were getting married. She was ready to celebrate the great relationship she had with fellow Blues Artist, Orlando Wright, but neither one of them had the time or experience to do the planning themselves.  Shemekia gushed: "I really didn't know much about weddings so I really needed someone to be honest with me in creating my special day.  Sharon did all that and then some. She did more than meet my expectations; she went above and beyond anything I could have imagined."

There was clearly a mutual admiration society: "When I first met Shemekia, it took about a minute to realize that I was getting to plan a wedding for a wonderful woman and a future friend. She is a Royal Princess in every aspect of life; in a beautiful way. To meet someone so beautiful and yet so natural and wonderful is a true blessing. Although we gave much attention to the details of the wedding, what I believe made this wedding very special was who Shemekia is as a person. The energy in the room was fantastic; her friends and family reflected Shemekia's joy right back to her and Orlando. It was a wonderful celebration," stated Sharon Ringier of Sharon Ringier Events.

Now my dear Anaheim Brides, you may be tone deaf and never called the "Future Queen of the Blues" like this sweet bride, but, what you can take away from this wedding story is this: if you have soul, you can have a true celebration of love. Enjoy the slide show and commentary below that will offer a glimpse into the details and emotions of Orlando and Shemekia's wedding.
