Weather Underground terrorist Kathy Boudin who was involved in a robbery which resulted in the deaths of two police officers and a Brinks guard, is now teaching at Columbia University after a 22-year stint in prison, according to Megyn Kelly in an April 3 Fox News report.
Kelly was outraged as she said, "This is an underground person who spent 22 years in prison and now has been granted a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University.....this after she was honored by New York University."
She referred to the fact the armored car robbery involved the deaths of two police officers and one Brinks guard.
Kelly further said, "This is an underground person who spent 22 years in prison, pleaded guilty, there's no doubt about her guilt that she murdered three people, and now she's teaching the next generation of our best and brightest what, exactly?
Kelly, blonde-haired former attorney, said that she wouldn't want her children attending Columbia because of Ms. Boudin who "murdered" police and a security guard and doesn't have anything to say about what her kids need to hear."
Fox news anchor made a comparison between Boudin and Casey Anthony and O.J. Simpson, saying, "This woman can admit to killing three law enforcement officers....and Columbia University gives her a job, a prestigious job."
Kelly's program followed on the heels of an article in Rupert Murdoch's New York Daily News newspaper entitled "Outrage 10l: Radical Jailed in Slay Now Columbia Prof."
In 2003 Boudin was paroled from prison based on the following criminal acts based on a post by Daniel Greenfield in The Point:
"When they reached the U-Haul, the terrorists abandoned their first vehicle and climbed into the back of the truck. They didn't expect to be seen by a sharp-eyed high school student who called the police. When one unit of four police officers spotted and pulled over the U-Haul, they could only see Boudin in the driver's seat. She got out of the cab, hands raised."
The tragedy then unfolded as follows:
Some accounts claim Boudin pleaded with the police to put down their guns, convincing them to drop their guard; others claim Boudin was silent, and the officers relaxed spontaneously. In either case, one thing is clear....although Boudin knew the back of her U-Haul contained six heavily-armed robbers, she did nothing to warn the police. Once their guard was down, six terrorists with automatic weapons burst out of the back of the truck, surprising the four police officers. A black police officer Waverly Brown was killed instantly. Just to make sure, one of Boudin's gangster friends fired in him point-blank as he lay on the ground."
In 1981, as part of a joint action by the Black Liberation Army and the May 19th Communist Organization, Boudin had participated in the holdup of an armored truck in Nyack, New York, a botched robbery that left three dead including security guard Peter Paige and Nyack police officers Waverly Brown and Edward O'Grady, according to The Point.
Josephine Paige, 74, relative of the slain Brinks employee, said, "The doesn't deserve a job at all, nothing at all. I think she should be back in an institution."
