Many San Francisco residents are asking about the heatwave we are currently experiencing and asking how long it is likely to go on.

"I just can't believe how hot it has been," says San Francisco resident, Alice Marshall. "I saw a sign on one of the banks locally and it said it was 81 degrees. No wonder everyone is sweltering in this heat."

So will Friday be more of the same?

According to KTVU Channel 2 News in San Francisco, there will, in fact, be change

Weatherman, Mark Tamayo says:

"Patchy fog will resurface near the coast Friday morning. Partly to mostly sunny skies will highlight the afternoon forecast."

He reports that our cooling trend has finally begun!

As a result, the highs should range from around the mid 60s near the coast, and up to 90 degrees well inland.

That will come as a relief to many people who are wishing they had more than just a paddling pool to keep them cool.
