Mississippi Gulf Coast 5 Day Weather Forecast (Biloxi MS):

Saturday: Partly cloudy and hot with an isolated afternoon thunderstorm, high temps will be around 90F, heat index values near 100F, winds from the southeast 10-15mph as overnight lows fall to around 77F.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and hot with high temps near 91F, winds from the southeast 10-15mph as overnight lows fall to near 78F.

Monday: Partly cloudy and hot with high temps near 92F, winds from the south 10-15mph and heat index values near 100F, overnight lows will be near 78F.

Tuesday: Sunny skies and very hot with high temps near 95F, heat index values near 105F, winds from the southwest 10-15mph as overnight lows fall to near 79F.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy and hot with high temps near 95F, isolated afternoon thunderstorms, heat index values near 105F and winds from the southwest 10-15mph as overnight lows fall to near 79F.

North Central SD Weather Forecast (Lemmon SD):

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, some which may be severe, high temps around 77F, low temps near 60F, winds from the northwest 20-25mph with higher gust.

Sunday: Sunny skies and breezy with west winds around 30-35 with higher gust, high temps near 74F, while low temps will be around 57F.

Monday: Partly cloudy and very breezy with northwest winds around 35-40 with higher gust, high temps around 68F, low temps near 55F.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with high temps around 74F, low temps near 65F, winds will be northwest 15-20mph.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy and warmer with high temps near 82F, low temps around 68F, winds from the south 10-15mph.

North East SD Weather Forecast (Corona/Milbank):

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, high temps around 79F, low temps near 66F, winds from the southwest 20-25mph. Some of the thunderstorms could be severe.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and breezy with west-southwest winds around 20-25mph as high temps reach 82F and low temps will be around 64F.

Monday: Partly cloudy and breezy with northwest winds around 20-25mph as high temps hit 75F, while low temps fall to near 55F.

Tuesday: Sunny skies and cool with high temps around 69F, low temps will be near 54F, winds from the northwest 18-23mph.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy and cool with high temps near 73F, winds from the north 5-10mph as low temps fall to near 55F.

Global Weather Headlines for June 28, 2014:

Tropics: This evening we are watching a tropical wave in the Eastern Pacific just to the southwest of Mexico that is showing very good signs of being a tropical over the weekend. The second area of interest is located in the Western Pacific, this area has a low chance at this time, as its located to the south-southwest of Guam.

Strong area of convection located just southwest of New Orleans over the Gulf of Mexico is bringing more heavy rainfall to the Gulf Coast region. Strong cold front pushing through the Northern Plains will be the focus of more heavy rain and severe weather through Saturday.

Heat continues over Northern Africa and the Middle East with high temps over 100F.

Strong storm system moving over Chile and Argentina is bringing strong winds, heavy rainfall and higher elevation snows to Southern Chile. A second low pressure area is beginning to approach South Africa this will bring strong southeast winds along with increasing chances of rain to the region by the weekend.

Frontal boundary extending from Japan back to the east over China will be the focus of more heavy rainfall for the region.
