There are a few breaks coming from the Arctic air, however they will be short lived as more cold air is inbound behind the frontal boundary.

Dec 20th: We are watching a potent winter storm that will take shape and move across the country, not only will it bring more snow but its going to bring some very dangerous cold air to the region as well.

Forecast for Saturday:

Partly cloudy with high temps around 16F, low temps will fall to around 5F.

Sunday:

Partly cloudy and warmer with high temps near 27F, low temps around 14F.

Monday:

Partly cloudy and very nice with high temps around 32F, low temps near 22F.

Long Range Forecast:

The December 20-28th, a one two punch with a cold front, followed by a very cold air mass as temps will fall back into the -20F to -30F range.
