We all have come face to face with someone who has a lot to say, but aren't really saying much. The saying practice what you preach or teach means nothing to some.
Then, you are given the privilege of knowing, meeting, hearing, or watching a man who truly wears his words well... Mr. Nelson Mandela.
Nelson Mandela wore the words of honor, humility, determination, compassion and forgiveness.
After spending 27 years in prison for fighting for equality and peace, Mr. Mandela upheld his words. His garments of determination and his forgiving heart of gold shined even brighter. The love he had for the people of the world became even clearer. With dignity, Mr. Mandela earned the position of the first black president of South Africa in 1994. Nelson Mandela demonstrated to the world with compassion what he stood for; never a word of hate or resentment towards anyone.
Mr. Mandela talked the talk and walked the walk; an honorable inspiration to many. I became a fan in 1990 when he was released from prison, prior to his release I heard his name but really didn't know much about him. Due to his humble nature, even at my young age he caught my attention. His name, his accomplishments, the man with the golden heart and strong spirit will always be remembered.
