A weak area of high pressure will build into the region today with some sunshine returning. Low pressure will then track well south of the region into tonight, bringing some light snow showers to extreme southern areas. Weak high pressure will then return on Thursday before a clipper type system approaches from the Great Lakes on Friday with a chance of rain and snow showers as temperatures remain relatively mild.

Thursday – Morning clouds, then becoming mostly sunny. High 39-43. Winds south around 5 mph.
Thursday Night – Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers after midnight. Low 27-31. Winds south between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of snow 30 percent.
