‘We should pack light when we travel with God’ activity

A Daily Word from the Word weekend activity for January 26/27 2013

“And He [Jesus] said to them, ‘Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.’” – Luke 9:3

My prayer is that this weekend activity will bring you to a different and more intimate place in God during your weekend time. I am believing, decreeing, and declaring amazing breakthroughs for you, in you, and in your life as you begin to dig up those hard places in you and in your life; allowing the Word of God to break up every hard place that currently keeps you from receiving and experiencing God’s best for you.

I suggest that you acquire a three-ring binder and a journal for these weekend activities.

God Bless you.

This weekend activity will require you to reference my article entitled “We should pack light when we travel with God” (© 2013. Gargano) published on January 21, 2013.

1. How does reading Luke 9:3 speak to you? What does it invoke and provoke in you?

2. What things (physical, emotional, and mental) have you been taking on your journey with God?

3. What things should you leave at home?

4. How will you start to “take nothing” in your travel time with God?

5. How will you make room for God’s Word and His Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) on your journey?

May God Bless you and keep you always.

With warmest regards,

And in service of The Most High King,

Matthew
