With Saturday Night Live talent Jason Sudeikis (David Clark AKA "Mr. Miller") and long-time sitcom talent Jennifer Aniston (Rose O'Reilly AKA "Mrs. Miller"), one would expect laugh after laugh, over laugh, upon a laugh.
Nuh. Not so much.
Granted, it was difficult to hear as there were many soft-spoken moments, coupled with moments where everyone else was laughing and audibility became non-existent.
It was a cute movie though.
There were also moments where society's bad seeds and misfits were granted redemption.
Sudeikis is tasked with acquiring an official butt-load of weed from Mexico, to the U.S. He enlists Aniston to be the Mrs. and Will Poulter (Kenny Rossmore) and Emma Roberts (Casey Mathis) to be his kids. Roberts is a homeless lass and Poulter has just turned 18 and has been abandoned again by his birth mother.
The Millers bring in the weed, where they are stiffed for payment by Ed Helms (Brad Gurdlinger). However, a couple who had earlier met the Millers on the road back from Mexico intercede and Gurdlinger gets arrested.
The Millers become like a real family for the next six months as the government then hides and protects them.
Aniston does a job and a half on this one. If you liked her before, you will love her now.
