We're From The Mexican Government And We're Here To Help

The Mexican Consulate in Tucson is whining again.  This time he says that Mexicans living in Tucson don't trust the police.

Juan Manuel Calderon Jaimes says Mexicans are scared to report crimes for fear they might be turned over to immigration authorities.  This is not the first time he has complained about how Mexicans are treated in Arizona.  Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villasenor responded that his officers aren't doing anything differently than in past years.

This is typical Mexican government hipocresia.  For years they ignored and/or participated in the multi-billion dollar drug trade that evolved into a ferocious drug war in Mexico that has spared nobody.  The murder and mayhem has killed over 40,000 Mexicans in less than five years and yet they have the chutzpah to continue to complain about the treatment of Mexicans in America.

Two years ago Juan Manuel Calderon-Jaimes announced that Mexico's five consulates in Arizona were opening a telephone call center in Tuscon to handle complaint calls from Mexican nationals who were being abused by Americans.

Reuters News Agency reported, “The Mexican government has opened a special call center in Arizona to provide a sympathetic ear for Mexican citizens caught up in the crackdown on illegal immigration in the desert state. Officials at the Mexican consulate in Tucson said they opened the center last week. It is available 24 hours a day to field complaints from Mexican nationals about their treatment in the border state, where as many as half a million illegal immigrants live and work in the shadows…"

Touching. The Mexican government shows concern for, and wants to help protect, Mexican citizens who have left Mexico…because the Mexican government didn’t show concern for or bother to help protect them when they actually lived in their own country, but...OK… better late than never…I guess.

Since Calderon-Jaimes has reiterated the Mexican government's concern for its citizens, I will, in that same spirit, resurect my idea of a Call Center for the 110 million Mexicans still living in Mexico.

A call from Tijuana or Juarez or Nuevo Laredo, or anywhere in Baja California, Sinaloa, Sonora, Chihuahua, Michoacan, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas or Guerrero might sound something like this:

“Hola, how can I help you?”

“Hola. There is a real bad problem here that is a threat to my family and I was hoping the government could do something.”

“What is the problem, Senior? Do you want to report being mistreated by Americans?”

No, Senior. Violent criminal drug cartels have taken over the city and parts of the state and are murdering people, police officers, judges, reporters, citizens…anybody who gets in their way.”

“Who is calling Senior? The caller ID is not reporting your number.”

“Please don’t worry about that, now. This problem is really bad. They are finding dozens of people murdered everywhere and headless bodies…a lot of them. They found a bag of heads near the school that my son attends, dios mio.”

“I understand. What is your name Senior, and where do you live?”

“The violence is non-stop; it’s as if the drug dealers control everything. And, anybody who even mentions it is targeted. We're hoping the government can do something.”

“Be assured Senior that your government is doing something with regard to drugs and the drug war. Now, if I could just have your address…where you are calling from right now…”

The violence and corruption is so widespread it makes Pablo Escobar look like an amateur in comparison. We need more army and police to deal with this problem. More people are dying in Tijuana than in Baghdad.”

“I can assure you, Senior, that the army and the police are very involved with this issue. Now, Senior, if you will just give me your name and address we will send out some officers who will...take care of the problem.”

“What we need is for President Calderon to “take care of the problem” and send the army after the drug cartels and smash them, but more importantly; lock up all the corrupt government officials who are helping them! That is what we need right now!  Comprende?”

“I understand completely, Senior.  Now, if you could just remain on the line for another… 40 seconds…”

Click!”

“Hola? Senior, are you there? We really do want to help.”

Here the sarcasm about the Mexican government ends.  And the death toll continues to climb.

How long are we going to tolerate illigals complaining about this country when the solution is so simple. SHUT UP AND GO BACK FROM WHERE YOU CAME!!

This is just another chapter to the story many refuse to understand. George Bush signed the Secure Prosperty and Partnership act or SPP, an agreement the American public knows nothing of whats contain within. It creates the North American Union and strips the U.S. of its Soveriegnty. We are seeing that our Military and Police from the U.S., Canada and Mexico are slowly being integrated as per the North American Union, and Mexico is acting on its interest as if the Union was a done deal and we are violating the SPP. We don't know for sure becuase we still don't know whats in it. So maybe Mexico is keeping TABS for future lawsuits in the World courts against the U.S. and its violations to an agreement the AMerican people know nothing about.

As usual, Rick O. is right on target. If nothing changes here in OUR (?) country, we will be having 13 h3qdless bodies a day. Over 20 years it continues to get worse, just as it does in Mexico. We have two very leftist governments looking forward to complete domination of the electorate.

I'm sure the police trust illegals in a more serious way. The consulate shouldn't worry about the police trusting illegals. What about the rest of us Americans? Does he actually think WE trust them?...HA!
More like the CONS TOO LATE!!!!!

"...the 110 million Mexicans still living in Mexico." That means, AT A MINIMUM 10% of that entire nation's population is HERE ILLEGALLY. It may be as high as 20%! There may be 1/5 of Mexico's citizens living here in violation of our laws.

I know many legal immigrants. I married one. That there are so many PROVES that it can be done. Not easily maybe, but from what I hear "immigrating" illegally is neither cheap nor easy. And if you come here legally, you have a better chance of surviving the experience.

If your not here legally you don't belong. I'm glad they don't the way their being treated. it torques me off that they are here. I'm a police officer in a major county and I screw with them every chance I get. If Immigration was just allowed to do their job we could start to get rid of this scurge upon the land.
