We're all perfectly imperfect

Thursdays, May 8, 2014: Questioning what you think and feel and trying to find clarity around both is the focus for today.

You'll have plenty of drive to move through your tasks with efficiency, so organize, discern, sort out and make things right. Attend to the mundane details of work and daily life, but if you find yourself being a bit spacey in the afternoon, realize that it's time to slow your momentum down.

Strive for good communications with co-workers, friends and partners. Thing are not necessarily what they may seem so don't jump to conclusions and don't criticize. Expecting perfection at every moment and in every action from ourselves, from co-workers, and from those we love only begets disappointment and frustration (and often anger). Accept being perfectly imperfect and practice humility.

Today's Quote

These are the few ways we can practice humility:
To speak as little as possible of one's self.
To mind one's own business.
Not to want to manage other people's affairs.
To avoid curiosity.
To accept contradictions and correction cheerfully.
To pass over the mistakes of others.
To accept insults and injuries.
To accept being slighted, forgotten and disliked.
To be kind and gentle even under provocation.
Never to stand on one's dignity.
To choose always the hardest.
