America has been blessed with a miracle of biblical proportions.
Can you believe it?
Have you heard the news?
Something has happened that many Americans never truly believed would happen!
It’s a miracle, I say, a bona fide miracle!
We are . . . dare I say it? . . . witnesses to the miraculous resurrection of Michele Bachmann!
You’d better believe it . . . because she’s back!
Where?
In the public eye . . . where else? . . . where she was until she wasn’t after she gave up on the idea of running to be President of the United States . . . barely 22 days ago.
She’s announced that she’s running for a fourth term in the United States House of Representatives.
Michele, who called herself an ‘Iowa girl’ a few months ago, now says she wants to continue to represent Minnesotans in the 6th congressional district.
Why?
Well . . . she’s already lives there, she’s a Republican, she’s the incumbent, she loves the attention, and also because it’s the next chapter in God’s plan.
So, why not?
I know what you’re thinking: "Davy, are you out of your mind? How can you say that it’s the next chapter in God’s plan for Michele Bachmann to run for reelection? Maybe it is the next chapter in His plan, but how on earth would you know?"
Well, you’re right to doubt my ability to know God’s plan . . . because I must admit I don’t.
But Michele Bachmann must know God’s plan.
After all, she seems so sure.
Remember what Michele said when she dropped out of the 2012 Republican primary race on January 4?
She said that she was looking “forward to the next chapter in God’s plan.”
And, now she’s announced her intention to run for reelection.
Has to be the next chapter in God’s plan . . . doesn’t it?
I mean, what else could it be?
And, since it’s God’s plan for Michele to run for reelection, it must also be His plan for her to win reelection.
And, if it is God’s plan for Michele Bachmann to win reelection to the House of Representatives in 2012, will the next chapter in His plan call for her to run for the Republican nomination in 2016?
Only if He has a sense of humor . . . which I believe He does.
Don’t you?
