We don’t need change in America - we need restoration.

The standard, on which any society builds its foundation upon, will equal to its strengths or its weaknesses. America was once known as a Christian nation and its foundation was built on the same principals found in any Christian Bible. The idea of freedom, liberty and equality are derived from the same standard of a living God and to the free expression, which free will grants to all God’s children.

The question stands however, is the foundation shifting, and with this shift, can we expect the tumbling down of many mighty towers, and the destruction of a society that once knew the importance of human life and of what many would say, was a solid moral society?
With any major shifting, a weakening occurs. Any engineer will confirm this statement. Are we as a nation as strong as we once were? I say, “A nation is only as strong as its people, and of the standard on which they stand”.

This being said, do a majority of American’s stand upon one standard or many? Has our spirituality in America created a division even among American’s? Can a nation stand on many standards without chaos and dissention. The Bible says it cannot. In Mark 3:24 we read this, “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand”.

Having a standard is the key to a strong society. Many in our country feel however that each man should simply be free to do as they wish. It doesn't take a politician to understand, that particular theory, is simple madness. This madness is equal to the weeds that choke out the life of the tree of liberty. How do we as a society regain our lost spirituality? How do we come together again under a fertile foundation? Easily we walk back under the umbrella protection of the God we see on every dollar bill we see. WE stand again as “One nation under God” and his principals”.

Everyone, I believe sees the chaos that now fills our country. They see the violence in our schools, churches and on the local street corners. No one can say we are where we should be a nation but no one also seems to have the answers do they? The answer is simple. We don’t need change in America, we need restoration. It was the basic good moral values that made our schools safe and our houses- homes. The loss of such morals is the weed that grows crazy in this garden of lost liberty. The thing is, its not simple patriots we need, but its Christian patriots marching to that of a Godly drum. They are the soldiers filled with solid integrity and a vigilance that cannot be quenched by the mere barking of toothless dogs.

Don’t say today “what can I do” but rather say “when can I start”. Start today by choosing in whom you will serve. If we read in Joshua 24:15 we read this same statement. It reads ” But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

We the people are the pieces to the scattered puzzle. Today, may we under God’s direction begin to come together as one again. May we stand under God’s umbrella of protection and love, and may the blessings that made America what it is, pour down once again upon each individual as they choose to accept God all over again in their lives. It’s never too late, make that choice today.
