Tis the season for giving thanks and now there is a fun new "app for that." The We&Co mobile app for iPhone (and soon Android) revolutionizes giving and getting thanks for a job well done. Using this unique mobile tool, patrons can publicly praise service providers at their favorite establishments thru the app itself as well as post it to Facebook and Twitter.
The founders have recently expanded the mobile app to include a website to promote more interaction and create a sense of community with users. “We built We&Co to celebrate those special service professionals who brighten our day, every day." says Co-Founder, Jared Malan. "Now, via our new website, any service professional can access We&Co. In addition, any patron can now use the website to thank - as well as discover - great service professionals.” The website will also give individuals without access to smartphones the opportunity to get in on the thanking.
Not only is We&Co a great tool for customers but it is also good for businesses to recognize their employees internally. By creating profiles on all staff members and raising awareness of the app and it's usage in the establishment, owners and managers can boost employee moral and promote customer service excellence. Through the website, there is a "Thank Back" function that allows the service providers to return the sentiment to their favorite customers. In essence, turning first-timers into regulars.
Headquartered in Atlanta, We&Co strives to make saying thank you an every day art form. They are already making great strides in this effort by encouraging early adopters of the app to spread the word locally and nationally. Since the beta release this past July, patrons have used the app to say thank you in more than 50 countries. It is evident that a little show of appreciation goes a very long way.
