We are our own beloved

We are our own beloved.

When we experience desire, we experience an awakening. Return it to self in becoming desirable.

It takes courage to acknowledge desire, because its counterpart is not having the object/subject of that which is desired, as always the opposite is inherent in all things.  Yet within ourselves we have the capacity to both be desirous and be the source of that which is desired.

The opposite of experiencing desire is boredom or even depression, so the question becomes, “How to maintain the activated resource desire inherently contains while managing to be free of the attachment to specific things?”

To maintain equilibrium while in the state of desire – actually being fully present, happy and at least somewhat fulfilled in the knowing that intentionality is at work in the bigger scheme of things, and that the present moment, while potentially uncomfortable or undesirable, offers the perfect piece of a puzzle which spells access to the desired intention.  Always mining the moment for its truth, lessons and opportunity to deepen into inner resources, essentially being the object of one’s own desire eventually leads to windows of vision, doorways of opportunity and the experience that the entirety of the Universe is collaborating on your behalf.

Expanding the volume of these windows and visions with practiced intentionality/meditation increases the opportunities for synchronicities to be apparent.  Stepping through the windows by saying “Yes” to the higher self each time feelings of victimhood beg to prevail.  Speaking the truth on your own behalf can be the most difficult challenge, because we are conditioned as a culture to say what we feel is expected and wanted of us.  The consequences of truth telling can be rocky on occasion, but always yield love in the bigger picture.

For isn’t that what love represents, the truth at our essential core?

Being desirous is the light side of wanting, which always generates a state of wanting, always wanting and not having.  Conversely, being in the state of desire is an energetic that can be returned to the self as fuel for being magnetically attractive.  This tiny shift in awareness makes a gigantic difference in that which is manifested and more importantly, how one experiences life.

Deepening into the intention of releasing the soul/self into its fullest and highest expression is a way to wrap meaning around life and expand the capacity to live lovingly inside even the most demanding of situations.  It becomes apparent that being desirous is the soul surging forth in an authentic, inherent expression that is to be honored, cherished and respected.  Desire, in fact, may be one of the clearest portals to love.
