Kandid Theory, a metal band from Buffalo, New York, consists of members Todd McMahon, 21, vocals and guitar,  Jay Kosiak, 28, guitar, Alex Fox, 16, guitar, Scott Wendel, 19, bass and  Casey Hankinson, 22, drums.

Formed in 2007, Kandid Theory says they're influenced musically by bands such as Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Incubus, Killswitch Engage and Godsmack and that the people that can relate to their music the most is:

"Anyone....depending on the (Kandid Theory) song they're listening to. But most of our themes tend to lead more toward feeling left out or feeling different from the norm - with a touch of inner torment".

Kandid Theory say some of their proudest accomplishments in music include, "gaining the respect of our fellow musicians, along with the support of our out of town fans.  It's nice to know that even guys in other bands who are pretty much competing against us in the music business, can still help and support what we do.  And the fact that people from other states, who have never even met any of us, are into our music enough to help us promote our band in their towns".

Kandid Theory perform at Club Infinity, Broadway Joe's and Club Diablo.

The band released a 5-song demo in 2008 titled "Silent Disturbatory".
