The West Coast Senior Tour postponed its scheduled bowling tournament in Diamond Bar this past weekend.

“Too many things were going on [that day] and there weren’t enough people to fill the spots,” said the tour’s owner and director, Dick Sanders.

The tour has rescheduled the Diamond Bar event for June 28. Eighteen players have signed up to bowl in the event, which will be held at Oak Tree Lanes.

Thirty-two bowlers have signed up for the following tournament in Laughlin, Nev., which will take place at Riverside Casino Lanes on July 12-13.

The tour has a 12-tournament schedule for 2014 with six events in Nevada and six in California.

Through five events this year, there have been five champions.

Dave Washburn of Las Vegas was the latest winner, picking up the title May 31 in a 31-player field at the Orleans Casino Lanes in Las Vegas.
