According to the official Facebook page for WCOA-FM (100.7) in Pensacola, Florida (southeast of Mobile, Alabama), they had planned on replacing the syndicated news and discussion program "Geraldo" with "The Chris Plante Show", another syndicated news and discussion program, in their regular programming schedule on Wednesday, January 1st, 2014, due to "Geraldo" being reformatted into a local radio program that would only be broadcast over the air by WABC-AM in New York, New York, and streamed through the official World Wide Web site for WABC-AM by then.
WCOA-FM used to broadcast "The Chris Plante Show" on a regular basis as part of their weekday programming in the same time period they had been using for "Geraldo" (8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.). It was part of their regular programming schedule from the day they adopted their current main programming format (news and discussions) and call letters in 2012 (Monday, April 23rd) before being replaced by "Geraldo" later that year ("Geraldo" became available to WCOA-FM and other radio stations through broadcast syndication on Monday, August 13th, 2012).
