An anniversary celebration for WBLX-FM's (92.9) was set to take place this December (even though WBLX-FM had started broadcasting by May 1974) with 40 high school and middle school students from the local broadcast area of WBLX-FM who were nominated for certain contributions to their schools or their communities.
