Scottsdale based, Iron Boy Promotions announced they will host the WBC USNBC light welterweight title bout on it's Nov. 16 card. Juan Garcia (18-3, 7 KOs), of Phoenix will compete in the main event for this title. The featured bout will be held at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix.
The co-main event features Victor Castro (10-0, 5 KOs), a great fighter in and out of the ring, remains undefeated and intends to keep it that way. Siarhel Liakovich, the former WBO heavyweight Champion, makes his Arizona debut in a special feature bout that will surely have fans on the edge of their seats.
The undercard is stacked with boxing goodness, Carlos Castro (5-0, 2 KOs) brings his business to the ring when he faces a crafty Rodrigo Aranda (8-18-2, 2 KOs). Aranda's record may look deceiving, but he has been in some serious scraps with some big names in boxing, many of his fights were taken on short notice.
Valley prospect, Francisco De Vaca (3-0, 3 KOs) continues to turn heads every time this kids steps in the ring. His skill as a fighter improves with every fight. De Vaca and Carlos Castro are trained by the legendary trainer, Roberto Alcazar. It was Alcazar that was behind the success of Oscar De La Hoya through much of his career when he trained him.
The card will also feature two standout amateurs, Eros Correa and Alexis Zazueta will make their debuts on this card. Both Correa and Zazueta are the latest project of Cameron Dunkin. Considered one of the best, and surely one of the most respected managers in boxing, Dunkin has a gift at spotting raw talent.
The undercard will also feature Edgar Brito, Beto Carbajal, Wilber Lopez, Mario Esparza and the fighter with heart, Joe Martell.
