Ways to pamper your South Beach sweetheart this Valentine's Day

With Valentine's Day less than two weeks away, here are three ways you can pamper your sweetie in South Beach this years. They include a strawberry or chocolate spa treatment, a romantic Italian dinner, or you can mark the lover's holiday by heading to the World Erotic Art Museum's first ever Valentine's Day party. Here's the details:

Start Valentine's Day at the Spa at Equinox, where specials are offered not only in South Beach, but at the other two South Florida Equinox fitness centers as well. Treat your loved one (or yourself) to a Chocolate or Strawberry facial, a one-of-a-kind beauty treatment sure to be appreciated. Combine with a deep tissue massage and your Valentine is sure to feel spoiled. Prices for 3-pacs range from $294 to $690, depending on the type of treatment. Membership is not required.

Sweet Dining Spot

Dining specials abound for Valentine's Day, but this one at Dolce Italian looks especially sweet. (Maybe it's the name!).

This new Collins Avenue dining spot offers a special prix fixe menu for Valentine's Day. The meal begins with a choice of three appetizers: Baby spinach salad or butternut squash soup, followed by a choice of main courses; filet mignon, Chilean sea bass or black truffle ravioli. Ending the night on the restaurant's namesake, couples can indulge in the decadent "dolce" of their choice. Choose the strawberry tart, made with sponge cake, Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries, or the chocolate cake, with Verona chocolate and mascarpone cream. The prix fixe meal is $75 per person and includes a glass of prosecco. Tax and gratuity are not included, and the restaurant's ala carte menu will also be available.
