Turtle Beach is one of the largest and most advanced head set providers in the gaming world. They consistently show off new technology in sound every year to provide the best possible experience for gamers. Now Turtle Beach is offering accessories for its headsets, and even teasing the idea of a new sound controller. They have had multiple headsets in the past, but are now offering licensed products, including Marvel Comics.

We spoke with the Senior Communications Manager for Turtle Beach, Jeff Burchett, at E3 this year. He mentioned that the Seven series of their headsets have over 70 different unique designs of speaker plates available. The speaker plates snap on and off very easily, so it can allow for quick interchanging. The Marvel licensed speaker plates can be purchased for around $25, while the self-designed Turtle Beach ones can be had for $20.

Some of the newer headsets such as Disney Infinity and Star Wars will be fully customizable with accessories. These headsets will also offer in-game content such as character skins. The Call of Duty headsets, which will be offering their fourth release this year with Advanced Warfare, dates back to Modern Warfare 3. This will have a lot of features including a surround sound decoder and offline chat. This new sound controller will designed and geared toward the Major League Gaming series, so it will obviously be for serious gamers.

The new consoles will allow for deeper changes in technology. Turtle Beach is releasing its first headsets for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Both of these are fully wireless, and the Xbox One headset will not require a chat chord connected to the controller. Turtle Beach is expanding on its DTS 7.1 surround sound technology for these by making the audio more accurate and contractual. There will be different modes for movies, games, and music. Enhancements to the dual-boomless microphone technology will be included, as well.

Lastly, Turtle Beach does offer headset stands. So if you’re the type to go all out on these headsets, there are plenty of options for you. The speaker plates are only available in the United States for the time being, and are available at
