Wayne Brady is the man! See him while you can at the Venetian

Making %@It Up!,” Wayne Brady’s one-of-a-kind comedy show is at the Venetian Las Vegas for a little while longer and is a show you won’t want to miss! While “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” put Brady on the map, “Making %@It Up!” solidifies Wayne Brady as a comic genius. In this show he sings, dances and improvises. If you haven’t laughed hard enough in a while, go see this show. It’s sure to delight. Brady performs with his improv partner, Jonathan Mangum who is also amazingly talented, and you never know if you’ll be pulled into the fun onstage. The Las Vegas Review Journal named Wayne Brady as “Best All-Around Performer” in 2008 and there’s a reason. This is by far, one of the best shows on the strip. If you're in the mood for comedy - this is the best.

The evening starts out with Mangum asking the audience for words, and not just words. Big words. The Brady does a rap, using all 7 words. Then the audience interaction begins. Two people are pulled out of the audience to provide sound effects for a scene that Brady and Mangum will perform. Then 2 more audience members are brought on stage for locomotion - to move Brady and Mangum’s bodies during the next scene. 10 second scenes follow. Brady and Mangum create a scene and then they repeat it, adjusting it to 10 or so different types of movie genres. The result is utterly hilarious and side-splitting. I feel I must take a moment to commend the talents of Jonathan Mangum, as there wouldn’t be a show without him. He is a valuable part of the dynamic.

The last portion of the show – “Celebrity Idol” – is definitely worth waiting for. Brady makes up songs, based on audience suggestions. He becomes MC Hammer, Prince, and a host of others.
