Wayland sent me an invitation about 2 weeks ago requesting help to raise money for a new tour van. I pledged on the Kickstarter page what I could and reposted the request on Facebook pages of my friends. I am unsure who pledged what but I can see on the Kickstarter page what was sacrificed by the band to earn money. From signed t-shirts to Dean’s guitar and Tyler’s sticks these guys even sold a private concert.
The confirmation email from Kickstarter read “Congratulations! Thanks to you and 184 other backers, Wayland: a band with a dying tour van has been successfully funded. Congratulations guys! I look forward to seeing Wayland be able to hit the road again and continue to win fans over in their new tour van.
