Whether it is temptation of the flesh, corruption of the mind, or a combination of multiple scenarios, evil will make ample efforts to make you succumb to sinful ways that we Christians strive to circumvent. There is this ever-changing, relentless wave of unbelief that is pouring over this world with no signs of stopping. Christians are losing their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ each moment of the day. The act of living on simple faith and incessant prayer has become only a distant memory and on a marginal basis.

“As it is written: ‘None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.’ ‘Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.’ ‘The venom of asps is under their lips.’ ‘Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness (Romans 3:10-18).”

We live in a world where the guilty surpass and rule over the innocent. This epoch of corrupted souls only seeks to spread its corruption over multiple generations. There are no decent people and there is no goodness. This generation is only full of godlessness and hatred.

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).”

Those few of us who remain sturdy in our faith in Jesus must keep pushing and moving forward. We must stand strong together and use the love and compassion giving to us from Jesus, and do our best to spread it to all people. Do not allow evil to get the best of you. When you find yourself unwanted by someone, put your shoes on and walk away from him or her. Do not second-guess that choice and do not allow him or her back into your life.

“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).”

Beloved remember that our Lord Jesus loves you and He only wants you to love Him and do right by your neighbor. Be courageous in His name and pray as often as you can. Prayer and repentance is all we Christians have in this world that is truly good. Cling to our Lord for only He is with us while the world is against us. Do not ignore our Lord, for He has not ignored you.
