Wave is simply on a roll (Photos)

It's been downright offensive.

The way that the Milwaukee Wave has been playing of late, that is.

This in not the pejorative sense of the word, however.

The defending MISL champs have been on a veritable tear of late.

Precisely how hot is head coach Keith Tozer's bunch?

On Thursday night, the Wave dispatched the Missouri Comets, 18-6, at the Independence Center there.

It was the ninth straight victory for the 10-2 team stretching all the way back to last year.

Tozer will try to extend that streak to double digits on Saturday, January 12, when the rival Baltimore Blast pay a visit to the U.S. Cellular Arena.

The start time was pushed back to 4 p.m. to accommodate fans that want to take in the Green Bay Packers playoff game.

Perhaps it's the team's return home that can share the blame for the snow melting along with global warming, of course.

The current masters of the carpet have been racking up goals by the bushel while goal keeper Nick Vorberg has been extremely miserly in return.

Marcelo Fontana , Luan Oliveiro and Josh Rife all chipped in with two goals in the win over the Comets.
