The Milwaukee Wave, defending champs of the Major Indoor Soccer League, will look inside and out to play two exhibition games this week.

On Wednesday, July 20th, the Wave will play the Bavarian U23 team, the reigning Midwest Conference champions of the Summer Soccer Showcase put on by the National Premier Soccer League.

That game will be played indoors at the US Cellular Arena at 1 p.m. Tickets are available for $8 at the team's offices, 414-224-9283.

Then the Wave hits the beach for an intra-squad game to be played at the Horny Goat Hideaway on Saturday, July 23rd. The action gets underway at 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Interest in all things soccer as been piqued by the recent US Women's team run toward the World Cup Championship, despite the heartbreaking ending and a loss on penalty kicks after OT and extra time Sunday afternoon in Frankfurt, Germany.
