The Waunakee Library recently released its 2010 Fall Library Program. There are loads of fun activities planned for kids of all ages, including teens, preschoolers, school-agers, and yes, tweens!
Here's a look at some of the best for tweens & teens:

Have you heard of Manga books? Read all about them here. Teens and Tweens can "Learn to Draw Manga Style" from Nick Katzfey on Wednesday, October 13th at 4pm.
"Learn how to draw in the Manga style! Artist, Nicholas Katzfey will show you years of art school tricks and techniques in one hour-long program. Learn to draw people and poses as well as hairstyles and facial expressions. Learn to draw characters, costumes, accessories and other cool stuff! Bring your sketchbooks and pencils." Registration required, begins September 1. Recommended for teens in grades 7 and up. -
Fantasy Series Jeopardy Trivia - Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 4 pm. "Will you take Percy Jackson for 500? How about Harry Potter for 1000? Come play a Jeopardy-like game with questions about some of your favorite fantasy series books! We’ll team up and battle it out."
Registration is required, and begins on October 1, 2010.Recommended for grades 4 - 6. - Family Game Night! Come on down… "Bring the family for a TV free game night at the library to celebrate Turn Off Your TV Week! We’ll have some family favorite board games or you can bring your own. Snacks will be served." Monday, September 20th, 5 - 8 pm.
